Full Bathroom Remodel: Zero-Threshold Walk-In Shower, San Antonio
A full bathroom remodel — taken down to the studs and rebuilt as a spacious, barrier-free walk-in shower with dual shower stations.
The Transformation
This bathroom was taken down to the studs and completely rebuilt. In place of the old layout, we created a spacious, low-threshold walk-in shower finished in warm travertine-look tile with a decorative mosaic band. It features two full shower stations, a built-in corner bench, dual recessed niches, and grab bars for safe, easy access — all behind a frosted glass door for privacy and a clean, finished look.
- Full gut renovation to the studs; new framing and drywall
- Oversized walk-in shower with low/zero-threshold entry
- Two complete shower stations — matte-black rainfall + handheld
- Built-in corner bench seat
- Two matte-black grab bars (accessible / aging-in-place)
- Dual recessed tiled niches
- Mosaic shower floor with center drain
- Large-format travertine-look wall tile with mosaic accent band
- Frosted glass shower door + frosted privacy windows
Designed for comfortable, independent use — a zero-threshold entry, seated bathing, and grab bars support aging in place and barrier-free access.
