I called for several quotes and I was turned away from some places because I live in a condo or my job was just too small. But he came out and had great recommendations and options for us. I have a 10 foot vanity with 2 sinks so getting anything without a seam we knew would be difficult to get But the crew led by Gustavo were able to get it in there for us! I am so impressed with my new bathroom. This was an “add a bathroom” instead of remodeling. It was installed at the end of a long exercise room. Everything from the design to the actual construction was done professionally and with great care. He promised me the work would be completed in a month but took an extra 2 days as the vanity mirror was slowed in transit. When it arrived, the finish off was beautiful. The wait was worth it. We first worked with David and Melina a few years back when their team assisted with correcting another company’s renovation mistakes. We were very pleased with the final outcome which made it an easy choice to go with Bath By Design for our next project. When we first started thinking about updating our fireplace, we knew we wanted something more modern, efficient, and low-maintenance than our old gas setup. The 1980’s brick surround felt outdated and heavy in our living room. After exploring a few options, we decided on converting the fireplace from gas to electric and updating the surround to a beautiful travertine finish—and the transformation has exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, the process was clear, well-communicated, and within our price range. The team walked us through what the gas line capping and electric installation would involve, how the new unit would operate, and what design choices would best complement our space. The installation itself was surprisingly smooth and David was available to discuss any concerns. The team handled the gas disconnection safely, added the necessary electrical setup, capped the chimney, and installed the new electric fireplace with precision. The biggest visual change came from replacing the old brick with travertine.  The tile team was phenomenal.  We were able to choose the tone and pattern we wanted, and seeing it installed was like watching the entire room transform. The travertine instantly updated the space—lighter, more elegant, and visually seamless. It’s the kind of material and workmanship that makes the fireplace feel like a true focal point rather than an outdated feature. Overall, this fireplace conversion and surround update turned out even better than we imagined. I wanted a soaking tub for quite a while. Bath by Design SA made my dream come true. David and his team met all my expectations. His crew worked diligently from start to finish, they were professional and courteous during the entire process. David has done several jobs in my home including remodeling my entire kitchen, repainting my downstairs, repainting exterior of my home, adding new ceiling fans, light fixtures, closing out a wall and building a closet to create a 4th bedroom. He got all the work done in the timeframe he promised and was always available and hands on. He’s very knowledgeable in what he does and I loved to hear his insight and recommendations for ideas I had for my home.
